Author visit: Marika McCoola

On May 23Baba Yaga's Assistant, we welcomed Marika McCoola to the 6th grade ELA classes. She is the New York Times-bestselling author of Baba Yaga's Assistant. She taught a one-hour workshop in each class. Students learned about the visual language of comics and the process of creating a graphic novel, and then wrote and drew their own comics. Thank you Families of RAUC for your generous funding of this special event!
