FRAUC Needs Your Help
Posted on 05/08/2015
Your parent-teacher volunteer organization, FRAUC (Families of the Rindge Avenue Upper Campus) want to highlight three opportunities where we need your help:

Last School Dance of the Year
Friday, May 8, 2015 | 6 - 8:30PM
Tickets: $8 (On sale at the door)

Faculty & Staff Appreciation Lunch
Wednesday, May 13, 2015
After the kids are dismissed at 12:55, the faculty and staff get to feel appreciated by enjoying a meal organized completely by you. To make this a success we need contributions of meals, drinks and time (set-up and serving).

Night of Excellence
Thursday, May 21, 2015
In addition to great performances and classroom demonstrations, the Night of Excellence is also a time for us to raise some money for school enrichment programs. We are looking to sell pizza - to capitalize on the 6PM performance time - drinks, snacks and RAUC “swag” such as the new RAUC t-shirts. Sign-up to volunteer >>

Annual Student-led RAUC Musical
Wednesday, June 3, 2015 and Friday, June 5, 2015
This year’s production promises to be another incredible show organized and performed by our kids under the guidance of Mr. Josh Dewitte and Ms. Summer ElGundy. These kids have been working all year on this production. We hope families come to support the show and we hope to offer some concessions to sweeten the deal. Sign-up to volunteer >>

FRAUC Membership
Did you know that you are a member of FRAUC just by having your child attend RAUC?

FRAUC is powered by 5-6 parent volunteers who happily take the lead in organizing events (e.g. the dances) and ways for you to easily participate and support RAUC in whatever way works best for you. You are automatically a member, so please come anytime our monthly meetings to learn more and participate in brainstorming and planning. Our last two meetings of the year will be in the library from 6 - 8PM on:

May 27 and June 17th

For more information, please contact your volunteer representatives: Stefanie Haug, Chair, FRAUC () and Joyce Gerber, Treasurer.

As you can imagine, the winter impacted several school events and, consequently, many of our fundraising initiatives. So these three events are key to raising funds to support school enrichment programs through-out the year such as annual grade field trips, before and after-school clubs, the Washington D.C. trip, and many others.

Your participation supports activities as well as strengthens the sense of community at your family’s school. Just as every child counts, so do you!

Kind regards,

The Families of the Rindge Avenue Upper Campus
