Students will take the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) in early April & May. Please see below or the calendar for the specific dates:

- ELA: April 12th & 13th
- Math: May 11th & 12th
- 7th grade:
- ELA: April 4th & 5th
- Math: May 18th & 19th
- 8th grade
- ELA: April 10th & 11th
- Math: May 9th & 10th
- Science: May 15th & 16th
As a reminder:
- The MCAS is the state standardized exam that gives schools, districts and families information about student achievement and growth on grade level standards. We use this data as one measure of a student’s overall academic performance.
- NOTE: Before they take the MCAS, all students will engage in an infrastructure trial and practice test. This familiarizes students with the interface and the different tools available to them during the MCAS. This will take place in the last week of March.
To our Muslim families:
- The state gives us dates that the tests must happen between, so unfortunately, we cannot avoid scheduling ELA tests during Ramadan.
- We know that students test better when they have eaten. We will follow your student's lead on how they want to balance fasting during the testing period.
