On Friday June 6, RAUC students attended our 4th Annual Cambridge Community Pride event at CRLS. Students had a lot of fun…
- Attending an opening dance performance featuring CRLS queer/trans students' along with a drag number by locally known drag king Jayden Jameson.
- Rotating between all of the different workshops.
- Many students came out with free swag including LGBTQIA+ affirming books, pins, and stickers.
- Making friendship bracelets, patches, decorated cookies; chilling out in the sensory room; and listening to Drag story time while eating a yummy dinner out in the courtyard.
The joy was infectious as students were full of smiles connecting with other Upper School and high school students and adults. It was a fun way to say, “We're here, we're queer, and we're not going anywhere!” Happy Pride!
