This morning, NASA Astronaut Dr. Jeff Hoffman from the MIT Aero-Astro Department visited our 7th graders as a culminating event for the 7th grade Astrophysics unit. During the visit, students heard from Dr. Hoffman about how he became an astronaut and asked questions about his personal experiences in space. At the end of the visit, MIT scientists announced the three final student experiments that they will consider taking on an actual Zero-Gravity flight. We’re grateful for opportunities like this that help encourage students to aim high!
