An important part of our equity work is making sure that our physical space is an environment where all students feel that they belong and can learn. Here are some ways we’ve tried to create a welcoming physical space for all our students!
6th grade anti-racist door installations
Recently, our 6th graders concluded a unit on race in their Social Studies class. As a culmination of their learning, they created anti-racist door installations. They selected an essential question and then designed a message to help influence others to practice being anti-racist! These posters are displayed throughout our school. Check out some below!
