Mr. Trainor recognized for Excellence in Promoting Civic Education

Tom Trainor was selected as this year’s Massachusetts Council for the Social Studies’ Don Salvucci Award for Excellence in Promoting Civics! Mr. Trainor has been teaching Social Studies in CPS since 2007 and at RAUC since 2012. He has helped to create, implement and refine a Civics curriculum that has been recognized by the state for its high quality and last year, he was profiled by
U.S. News and World Report. Mr. Trainor and the other winners will be recognized at a ceremony in Marlborough next Monday, May 1. We are grateful to have such talented and hardworking educators like Mr. Trainor at RAUC!
